Employment Services assist
individuals in securing community employment. Providers
in the SCCMHA Network Provider Panel help consumers gain
skills to obtain and maintain employment. Services
include but are not limited to job development, job
coaching, follow-along support, job carving, and
equipment purchase that would enable a person to perform
a particular job. The Supported Employment,
Transitional Employment, Enclaves, Micro-Enterprise and
Ticket to Work programs assist people in achieving their
employment goals.
Current SCCMHA consumers who
express an interest and desire to work during the
person-centered planning process may have access to
these services. Additionally, individuals who are not
enrolled consumers at SCCMHA can benefit from the Ticket
to Work program. Businesses can also benefit from
hiring individuals involved in these programs as they
will get reliable, hard-working individuals as well as
potential tax breaks.
For more information and access to
these services, please contact the Employment
Coordinator at 989-754-2288 or
rthiemkey@sccmha.org.
