The ABLe Change Framework: A Conceptual Methodological Tool for Promoting Systems Change by Pennie G. Foster Fishman and Erin R. Watson, was published this month (July 2011) in the American Journal for Community Psychology. Fishman and Watson were consultants in FY 2008-2010 to the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority on behalf of the local partner agencies serving children and youth with serious emotional disturbance and their families in the community. This publication includes reflections and research on community change efforts based upon their work with the leadership and staff members of the partner agencies together with families and youth, to establish a Children's Mental Health System of Care in Saginaw County.
