How do I Get Medicaid with a Deductible?

Everyone that applies for Medicaid gets a deductible
There is no such thing as Medicaid with a deducible
Deductible means you are eligible for Medicaid, except for your income.

A Medicaid Deductible Report (MDR) must be sent into the Entitlement office once your deductible is met with services with SCCMHA for the month.
DHHS just knows
Your doctor will send the bills directly to DHHS

How do I Keep my deductible active?

Do nothing
Send in a MDR once a year.
It should be met every month. If not met in the last 3 months you may lose your Medicaid with a deductible.

How do I Use my Medicaid with a deductible?

Your Medicaid will be active on the day it is met each month. Once met you will have full coverage and may use at outside providers.
Your Medicaid is active for the full month, every month.
Your Medicaid is only active on the even months.
