Community Resources

Saginaw County is a great place to live and work.  Along with the many attractions in Saginaw County, Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) wants to provide community resources to people living and working within Saginaw County. SCCMHA provides public mental health services to those who meet criteria for services.  SCCMHA also believes that all Saginaw County residents deserve to be able to find resources for mental health services, even if they do not meet the criteria for SCCMHA services.

Because of this belief in providing information to the public, SCCMHA developed a Saginaw County Community Counseling Directory, found at the following link:  2017-2018 Counseling Directory.  This directory was first published in 2006 and has been regularly been updated for Saginaw County residents.

SCCMHA also publishes the Saginaw County Community Licensed Residential Provider Directory, a directory of Adult Foster Care (AFC) Homes.  We do have contracts with some of the mental health agencies in the counseling directory as well as the residential directory.  However, these directories were published for the residents of Saginaw County and not just for those people we serve.

SCCMHA has been working with 2-1-1 to provide information about SCCMHA resources.  There is a lot of other information you can find if you call 2-1-1 or go to their web site.  The 2-1-1 resource is available in all Michigan Counties to assist people with receiving needed services and help.  To get connected to 2-1-1 all you have to do is call 211 on your phone or go to their website at
