Access to SCCMHA Training LMS

SCCMHA has an obligation to ensure a competent network of service providers. MDHHS specifies certain required training in specific areas. 

SCCMHA Continuing Education is aimed at improving the quality of supports and services for people served in the SCCMHA provider network. SCCMHA training improves system performance, organizational processes, and enhances the best use of limited resources. 

SCCMHA has a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) to best support providers in meeting training requirements. 

Autism Provider Training

SCCMHA's Autism Training Module provides individuals with the skills and knowledge they require to communicate effectively with someone diagnosed with autism. Being able to effectively communicate with parent/guardians and consumers can have a significant positive impact on the mental health, well-being and quality of life for those with autism. 

Direct Care Provider Training

Direct Care Provider Training are required training for SCCMHA employees working with consumers in a clinical setting. 

Self-Direction Provider Training

Self-Direction Provider training is required training for all SCCMHA employees, these are self-guided trainings.

SCCMHA Community Partner Trainings

Are you interested in training but aren't a member of a contracted community partner?  SCCMHA offers several different training opportunities for Licensed Social Workers to acquire Continuing Education credits towards their licensure.

Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care.
