IMPORTANT TRAINING UPDATES:

- During the MDHHS waiver review, it was determined all those serving persons on a waiver must now renew Environmental Emergencies & Fire Safety Training every 3 years. Current staff who have already completed Environmental Emergencies & Fire Safety Training will have 6 months to bring this requirement into compliance: due by 2/9/25
|
- Training pre-requisites must be completed PRIOR TO registering for SCCMHA training: Orientation to Training, Working with People and CPI Physical Intervention for Protection
|
- Staff MUST be registered and receive a confirmation for training from CEU at least 24 business hours prior to start of training or they may not be let into training
|
- All monthly reports CEU sends out are for the month prior
|
- Please be sure you are communicating with your staff regarding training titles, dates, times and/or if you cancel them for a training, Staff are showing up at A&W Building and they do not know why. SCCMHA has many functions going on throughout the building, so they need to know why they are coming to the A&W building in order to be best directed,

- If you need attendance verification of your staff attending training: please tell them to have the trainers sign off on a training verification form while they are at training.
|
- Renewal Home Manager training is tentatively scheduled for Friday October 11 or Wednesday October 30. *Choice to attend 1 date.
