16 Hours of Required Training Annually - Home Managers

P&P 05.06.06.02: …the licensee and administrator must annually complete no less than 16 hours of Department of Human Services approved training that is relevant to the licensee’s admission policy and program statement.

  • If Home Managers are completing their General All Staff Online Annual Renewal Training, they are acquiring 6 hours of training credit.
  • If Home Managers are attending the required annual Home Manager Specific Renewal Training in-person at SCCMHA, there are often 6 hours of credit associated.
  • The remaining 4 hours can be achieved from the SCCMHA CEU Lunch & Learn opportunities as well as the other external trainings SCCMHA CEU promotes throughout the year.
  • Or finally, Home Managers can submit their own external education they may be seeking out and attending – this information must be sent to CEU so it is documented within the Home Manager training record.
